I ♡ Jeffrey Campbell

I have always been a fan of Jeffrey Campbells. The punky, fun designs, the very good quality and comfort. I have had a pair of JC flats that have endured just about every weather condition and still hold up fine. Of course, most of the time they cost a pretty penny. This is why when I stumbled upon MissKL (Karmaloop’s new all-girls site) on President’s day, and they were having a two-for-one shoe special, I had to jump on it. Even more lucky, I found two JC shoes that I adored and were stocked in my size. One of them is the breezy summer boot called the Coltrane. This particular style is based on one of last season’s Balenciaga boots- and I have been coveting it for forever. I originally saw the version in pink neoprene, but when I discovered this distressed, black leather version, I knew this was the one. The second shoe is the Pueblo boot, that is a Karmaloop exclusive. Though I hadn’t seen this style before, I loved it. The wine, ruboff toe, the small metal studs, and the very dramatic wooden heel were all so different from any shoe that I owned.

Not only was I super happy with the shoes, but they came to me in less than a week, and were perfectly packaged. I think that when you buy something so special (and so spiky), good packaging is necessary. Though I haven’t been able to wear either of them out yet (so. much. rain.), I’m looking forward to it. I will be going to a show of a couple of bands tonight and hope that the rain dies down by then so I can wear the Coltranes! If you guys want to check them out, here are the links to both the Coltranes and the Pueblos.
