I know, I know. I don’t usually wear navy and black together. Swears. This was just sort of an impromptu shoot and my little, blue velvet boots have been getting a little too much wear lately. So black boots it is. Also as I’ve mentioned before, I am not a jean person but last season I picked up these Vera Moda jeans from Asos and they’ve become a winter staple. I think it’s just because I’m obsessed with anything high waisted. This whole outfit is basically a compilation of some of my favourite winter clothes, since it was feeling chillier than usual.
I also got this Union Jack cropped sweater from Asos a while back, and it use to not be cropped. After a few rounds in the dryer it turned out like this, and every movement leaves my midriff bare. I’m usually not one to sport a cropped top but I was feeling particularly confident. Why not. It’s almost spring, why not dress like it? On that note I’ll be going on my yearly writer’s retreat for school in a couple of weeks. The place we stay at is right by the beach so I made a few purchases from NG in the spirit of spring wear. One was a heather grey tee with psychedelic sleeves and then the pair of Quay sunglasses I’ve been chattering about. Very excited for them to come in the mail- tell me what you thinks girlies.
