What a fun day of shopping with some friends! Today I hit some of my favourite boutiques  and just had a very delightful girls day. Unfortunately I couldn’t spend any money on (quite a few) things that were calling to me in said stores because of a few online purchases that I want to make. That may or may not include spending a months worth of pocket money on a pair of shorts and some Quay sunglasses from Nasty Gal. Anyway, it was a bit chilly, so I decided to finally wear this color block J Crew sweater out and pair it with my favourite skirt from TopShop. I just adore the dramatic shape that this skirt has! It always gets quite a few compliments so it’s nice to wear when you’re feeling a little down.

For those of you who are American Idol fans, I bumped into Elise Testone from last year’s cycle at one of my favourite shops! She was quite stylish and I loved her Free People hat!
